Ayurvedic Health Counseling & Yoga Therapy
According to Ayurveda, sattva is the purest quality of all—that of serenity, tranquility, and equanimity. It is the energy of wisdom, understanding and cognition. Achieving sattva is how we, as humans, can reach our highest state of consciousness. Sattva gives rise to and cultivates the awakening of the soul.

I have studied Ayurveda with the Boston Ayurveda School and Yoga Therapy with Yogaspirit Studios. This combination of Ayurveda and Yoga provides a complete approach for optimal health, vitality and higher awareness. They are known as sister sciences; each complementing the other in perfect synchronicity.

All of the practices and principles of Ayurveda and Yoga are meant to prepare us to reach a sattvic state of being (in mind, body and spirit) by developing the diet and lifestyle optimal for our unique body, energy, senses and mind.

I look forward to sharing with you the beauty of these ancient health systems, and guiding you on your journey of healing and self-discovery.
Why Choose The Sattvic Path?
It can help with
Digestion
Millions of Americans suffer from occasional digestion problems like gas, bloating, stomach discomfort, constipation, heartburn, and fatigue after eating. In Ayurveda, our digestive system is referred to as our agni, or digestive fire, and it is at the root of every imbalance and disease. Ayurveda teaches us how to strengthen our agni so our whole body gets nourished evenly and consistently.

Fatigue
When we feel tired, it is a warning from our bodies that we must rest and rejuvenate. When we feel chronically fatigued, the warning is from a deeper source. We are being warned to change our ways. Ayurveda offers a path to integrate the element outside with the elements inside of us to bring balance.

Weight Loss
Studies have confirmed that obesity is a major public health problem which can result in serious health consequences such as Cardiovascular Disease, Type 2 Diabetes, Musculoskeletal Disorders like Osteoarthritis, and some Cancers. Ayurveda provides a simple, doable, effective approach to weight loss. Reclaim a vibrant sense of health and well-being.

Muscle and Joint Pain
Joint pain and muscle pain is often a common health concern that can affect our quality of life. Muscle pains can occur because of stress, overexertion and poor posture, while joint pain can be an acute or chronic condition that can worsen over time. Ayurveda can advise us regarding the lifestyle that can improve our joint and muscle health.

Stress
Chronic stress can lower immune function and increase the susceptibility of the body to various diseases. Ayurveda recommends a number of subtle therapies to support our immune system and minimize the stressors that can lead to imbalances and disease.

Detoxification
Ayurveda recommends detoxifying on a regular basis to facilitate our body’s release of toxins, clear detoxification pathways, and reverse some of the effects of chronic stress. Cleansing can take the strain off of our body, allowing a return to your natural state of health and inner strength.
